The moment you step through the door of Pear Tree House you will feel at home.

Pear Tree House has been individually furnished and styled throughout, and you'll see delightful touches everywhere you look. When it comes to comfort, our standards are exacting. The mattresses are pocket sprung, with feather duvets and pillows. The bed linen is pure cotton, the towels soft Egyptian cotton. The kitchen has everything you should need, whether from the welcoming cosiness of the AGA to the champagne bucket and glasses for those special occasions to the Whittard’s children’s crockery. The lounge affords generous sofas that are perfect for relaxing after a hard day’s holidaying. Outside, to the rear, there is a lovely Yorkshire paved patio with a table and seating for 8 and a barbeque.

You’ll find your cottage immaculately presented and cleaned from top to bottom. Aired and dressed with fresh Laura Ashley bedding and soft Egyptian cotton towels, Molton Brown toiletries and a welcome pack that can be tailored to your requirements as requested.

The house has everything you could wish for to make your stay a pleasure.

Non-Smoking: In the interest of all our guests, Pear Tree House is a non-smoking property.

Parking: Parking is available on the main street and at the T-junction from Sleights. Ruswarp benefits from not having the parking problems of Whitby, although it is still just a mile away and can be easily accessed by car, train, bus or on foot.

Neighbours: Like any small village, we would ask that you are aware of and respect our neighbours, many of whom have lived in the village for years
